Software Installation Guide

Installing to Your PC

• Double Click on the HinterWars_v1.x_(PC).exe file
• Wait for the installation screen to display
• Click 'Install' to begin the installation process
• Follow the on-screen instructions to continue installing the game to your hard drive
• After the installation process is completed, choose "Finish" to complete the game installation process

Installing to Your Mobile Phone

Method 1: Using an MMC flash writer

• Connect the MMC writer to a free USB port on your PC, and insert the MMC
• Make sure you know which drive letter refers to the MMC
• Double click the installation file for HinterWars Mobile Client
• Click 'Install' to begin the installation process
• Select the drive where your MMC is located. The game should be installed to the root directory of your MMC, e.g. "E:\"
• Follow the on-screen instructions to continue installing the game to your MMC
• Once the game has been installed to the MMC, insert the MMC into your mobile phone
• You may now access the game by pressing the phone's 'Menu' key and selecting HinterWars icon

Method 2: Transferring to a mobile phone directly (without an MMC writer)

• Double click the installation file for HinterWars Mobile Client
• Click 'Install' to begin the installation process
• Select desktop when asked to select drive
• There should be a "system" folder on your desktop after installation
• Insert the MMC into the mobile phone as explained in your user guide
• Using your USB cable / Bluetooth, connect the phone to your PC
• Copy the "system" folder onto your mmc card
• You may now access the game by pressing the phone's 'Menu' key and select the game icon after you have completed the above steps

Installing to Your Mobile Phone - Series 60 v3.0

Method 3: Sending via Bluetooth

• Send the .SIS installation file to your phone with a Bluetooth enabled computer
• The file will be received as a new message
• Check the inbox folder and open the new message
• The installation process will begin
• You may access the game by selecting HinterWars icon under Application folder

Method 4: Using miniSD card reader

• Connect the card reader to an USB port on your PC, and insert the miniSD card
• Copy the installation file from your pc to the miniSD card, under 'Other' folder
• Insert the miniSD card to your phone
• Browse to the phone's menu and select Tools
• Select File Manager
• View content on miniSD card
• Select 'Other' folder
• Select the installation file and open it, the installation will begin
• You may now access the game by selecting HinterWars icon under Application folder

Starting the game

PC version

Left-click the Start button from the Windows(R) Taskbar and select All Programs (or Programs)> HinterWars> Play HinterWars

Mobile version

Go to the mobile phone's "Menu" page

Click on the HinterWars icon to start game
